IATA Special Provision A67 outlines the conditions under which wet cell batteries can be classified as non-spillable and transported as Not Restricted by air. This provision commonly applies to sealed lead-acid, AGM, and gel cell batteries used in equipment such as UPS systems, mobility devices, and security systems. To qualify under A67, the battery must have successfully passed both vibration and pressure differential testing to demonstrate that it will not leak electrolyte during normal air transport conditions.
